Now that 35 children are living at the Children’s Home in Mwadui along with the over 300 boarding students at Mwadui Secondary School, it is vitally important to have a clinic for the school and greater community. This project has been a dream of the diocese since 2014, and this summer the clinic finally received government clearance to open! We were able to get a tour of the beautiful facility a few weeks before it opened. What they now need most is an ultrasound machine for advanced diagnostics (about $14,400) and a full blood count (FBC) analyzer for comprehensive health screenings (about $5,750). If your church or community group would like to help with the project, please let us know.
