Diakonia World Federation Assembly

The Diakonia World Federation Assembly is held in a different location every four years, and in July 2025 it will be held in Tanzania for the very first time. We wanted to ensure that Tanzanian church leaders had the opportunity to meet and network with church leaders from around the world. We received enough donations to send 4 representatives from the South East of Lake Victoria Diocese and 3 representatives from the East of Lake Victoria Diocese. Thanks to your donations, Bishop Yohana Nzelu, Dcs. Edna Shoo, Dcs. Huruma Nemes, Victoria Nakiliaumi, Rev. Julia Mutungi, Esther Lema, and Dean Stephen Ling’wa John are all now registered to attend. Linda will also be attending along with some of her American deaconess sisters, and she will be hosting a 5-day ministry tour for four American deaconesses who are able to stay longer after the conference.
