After 3 months of learning to make clothing, batik cloth, snacks, soaps, and lotions, the first class of men with albinism graduated from the vocational center on May 17, 2024. The diocese is hoping to welcome a new cohort of men (at least 10 people per cohort) to the vocational center in 2025. However, the course costs about $1,000 per person, which includes room, board, training supplies, and their own sewing machine and supplies to start their own business. If you would like to sponsor a young adult with albinism to learn how to sew and make cloth, baked goods, lotions, and soaps, please contact us here.
